NBV has been widely recognised throughout the Pacific as a leading example of how a commercial bank can innovate to deliver relevant banking services to remote populations.  Our world-class market-based microfinance product supports hundreds of small village-based businesses, many of which are owned and managed by women.

NBV is a founding member of the Microfinance Pasifika network, which is an alliance of institutions committed to supporting people in the Pacific to improve their quality of life through the provision of inclusive and sustainable financial services.  NBV has served on its Executive Committee since the network’s inception in June 2006.
